The Adams Gallery was filled to capacity and had a standing room only crowd. The estimated count of participants was over 300 and included numerous participants from the Charleston and Low Country area. Tony and Vickie Adams, owners of the gallery, graciously donated their facilities and time to make this project a success.
Larry and Linda want to thank Tony and Vickie Adam, Linda Joyce, Chairperson of the event, and her husband Jimmy, all of our hardworking committee members, and volunteers who so generously donated their time to make this event such a huge success.
On March 25th, 2007, Ted Hussey, Col. UAS Ret., and his running partner, Ron Johnson, successfully completed the Bataan Memorial Death March marathon in New Mexico and completed the 26.2 miles in 6 hours and 50 minutes. His time was in the top half of the 774 Civilian men that completed in this division.
Donations as of March 30, 2007 have totaled over $6,000.
We are still accepting donations and are asking for a dollar per mile; more if possible.
